Terms & Conditions
General Terms and Conditions regulate the relationship between the Customer and KRETHAUS for any purchase. All orders are placed with KRETHAUS.

The order submitted by the customer shall be binding for Krethaus by sending an email to the customer confirming the receipt of the order placed. We start processing your order as soon as it is received. You will receive an email confirmation with shipment tracking number in it. Only orders not yet processed for shipment may be cancelled. A 5% non-refundable processing fee is included in the cost of all orders. If you choose to cancel your item(s) prior to shipment, this 5% fee will not be refunded. We will credit cancelled orders in the form of payment used.
The customer will receive a pro-forma invoice that once it’s fully paid, it’s when the customer confirms the order.
Unpaid pro-forma invoices will automatically produce the cancelation of the order.
The customer shall verify the content of the e-mail and shall notify Krethaus of any error or other mistake.
Orders purchased through retailers other than KRETHAUS.COM: If you purchased your items from one of our retailers, please contact the retailer directly for their shipping, sales and returns policy. At this time, KRETHAUS cannot accept inquiries about, or returns or claims for, orders purchased from a retailer other than Krethaus.com.
Prices and Payments
All prices are in Euros (EUR). The prices for the products do not include the shipping costs, which be calculated in the moment of the purchase. Total costs will be indicated in the orders confirmation. All products final prices include VAT. Orders may arrive in separate deliveries.
Shipping internationally will be available (please contact email@example.com to get more information). If the customer is resident outside the European Union the VAT tax will no be calculated. The Customer will be responsible for determining taxes and Customs duties. Overseas deliveries are subject to local import duties and taxes, which are payable by the customer upon receipt, and may produce Customs delays.
The customer undertakes to pay the total price of the products and shipping costs as stipulated on the site and also to pay for the customs duties or any other taxes due to the import of products in the country of delivery.
The customs shall pay for their order by Paypal (4% of administrative charges will be added), credit card or bank transfer (we request you send copy of the wire transfer by mail to ensure we credit the amount to your order asap).
We reserve the right to alter minor details of our products and in other informational materials we provide in the interest of maintaining product quality and design integrity. Accordingly, products shipped may differ slightly form those depicted on our website. Colors and hues of products as like wise depicted may differ slightly from the real life product.
Please keep in mind, part of the beauty of working with natural and organic materials is the expected variation in grains, hues and colors. Such differences within our products is not indicative of a defect, rather we believe it’s what gives each individual piece a unique quality.
Krethaus cannot match or guarantee specific wood grains or hues nor will accept any return or refusal or goods based upon variation in grains and hues.
Shipping and Delivery Policy
The goods will be delivered to your delivery address specified on the order.
Once payment has cleared, we will dispatch your order. Most often our products are in stock and available for immediate delivery.
Products that are not in stock are made to order. Estimated lead times are listed on the product pages. Please write us an email at firstname.lastname@example.org regarding any questions about lead times.
In case of drop shipping, the retailer has to provide a full address of the client and client’s telephone number. In case of delivery problems due to wrong delivery address provided by the retailer, Krethaus may charge the retailer the additional costs charged by the shipment provider due wrongful delivery.
The delivery note given by the carrier, dated and signed by the customer upon delivery will constitute evidence with regard to transport and delivery. In the event of undelivered products due to customer absence or wrong address, the products will be returned to Krethaus. The customer will be charged with a new shipping cost.
Furniture and Accessories items will be shipped via a standard freight carrier. Most carriers schedule deliveries Monday – Friday 9am – 5 pm. Customers must be onside to receive, inspect and sign the delivery.
Even though items are packaged properly, transit-related damage can occur. When an order arrives, please inspect it carefully. If you notice any damage to the boxes please notify the shipping company immediately and retain all packaging materials. If you wish to have our assistance in filling the claim, you must notify us immediately (within 24 hours) for insurance compliance at email@example.com. It is imperative that the outer boxes be inspected carefully and that any damage to the boxes and additional packaging materials is noted on the delivery receipt. Shipping documents should not be signed without recording details of transit damage.
KRETHAUS is in no way responsible for any delay in shipping, including local delivery, error or any international Customs issue.
KRETHAUS offers high quality products. All pieces are inspected at the factory to make sure they are perfect before shipping to our customers. If a shipment arrives with the appearance of shipping damage or a manufacturing defect, please notify us immediately (within 24 hours of receiving the order) at firstname.lastname@example.org and we will do our best to resolve the issue as quickly as possible. We will send you a claim form once we receive your email to fill out and digital photographs will be required. Without these items, no item or part will be replaced.
Claims will require original packaging and following digital photos:
a. A picture of the complete outside of the box, clearly showing the parcel label.
b. A picture of the opened box, clearly showing the content and the interior packing.
c. A picture of the complete size of the article.
d. A detailed picture of the concrete damage of the article.
e. Retain all packaging, without it we cannot process a claim.
f. Retain all shipping receipts.
g. Claims must be filed in full within 5 days of delivery. Failure to do so will constitute full and unconditional acceptance of the products.
h. In the event of shipping damage, you are required to comply with the claims policy requirements of the shipping company used to deliver the item. Should the shipping company require it, the damaged item must be available for inspection.
i. Any determination of defects in Krethaus products is Krethaus´sole discretion.
j. If your purchased your order from one of our retailers, please contact the retailer directly for their claims policy.
k. If a manufacturing defect determination is made, a return authorization number is required to ship back the item. Returns must be shipped with original packaging. Items returned incomplete, damaged or without defect will be assessed a restocking fee of 30% plus shipping costs.
We will do everything we can to assist you with your claim.
Shipping and handling charges are nonrefundable.
Return shipping and return pickup fees are the customer’s responsibility and are no refundable.
Free of charge, 1 year for all goods applies. In the event of a product fault that is covered under the terms of the warranty, we shall repair the products, supply a replacement or refund the purchase price at our discretion.
A New Simplicity SL owns the intellectual property of the krethaus.com website and the right to display all the elements of it. Everything on krethaus.com, including but not exclusive to designs, images, drawings, graphics, and text, is protected by worldwide copyright as well as other proprietary laws and treaty provisions.
Any copy or use of the brand, website or its contents, by copying or storing it, in whole or in part, other than for a non-commercial use is prohibited without the written permission of A NEW SIMPLICITY S.L.
